Why such people should be honoured/recognised ? Are they doing a favour to the nation. Paying income tax after exceeding certain limits of annual net income of an individual, a joint family, a trust, a business entity and a corporation/company is a statutory requirement and the defaulters are liable for different kind of punitive action their against. Why some people want to be recognised by the nation for such acts is not intelligible! On the contrary, the nation is already over burdened with thousands of awards in different fields, which need a cut. Now that recognition of highest income tax payers is demanded, tomorrow a demand may be made to reward those who follow the traffic rules, the very next day some one will ask to be recognised for not defecating/uranating in open and so on & so forth. Such demand must be opposed tooth and nail and be discouraged at all levels. more
