Hospital loots, helpless doctors

All major hospitals were reported as overcharging centers.

Pls know By opting for post-graduation in a private medical school, residents pay Rs 4 lakhs every month—tuition fee.
3 years later, armed with a MD degree, if they are lucky to be hired in a teaching hospital, they’re paid about Rs 90000 a month.

Basically medical colleges and hospitals are Profiteetring. Doctors stuck in the middle and try ti do all kinds commission/cut business with lab testing, chemist, pharma companies more

After the introduction of Reservation in Medical Seats all these things have started. Most of the Reserved Category Doctors are below Average Standard. Open Category aspirant Doctors are unable to get Admission in Govt Colleges. They get admission in Private Colleges and have to pay very high fees. more
Very true. That is why the politicians in TN are protesting against NEET. There are many private medical colleges run either by the politicos or their benamis. The entire Tamil media (print and electronic) is owned by the political parties. These create a mass hysteria against NEET but are silent about the virulent practices by the private hospitals and doctors who graduate from there. Imagine, a doctor who pays upto 1 crore for MBBS, upto 3 crores for MS/MD and almost 5-6 crores for superspecialisation will try to milk that money from the patients only. more
The Problem is we do not want free lance Doctors, but we want free lance Hospitals. more
Nobody want any freelance only people wants this Nobel profession should act as Nobel profession as when health related issue come patient consider them as next to good do correct diagnosis and treat as required instead of just recovering the expenditure in fast mode. People happy to pay against their health reasonably. But the business of Insurance, profession, corruption in different mode and not self responsibilty and honesty to make fast rich only created this vicious circle. more

Plight of Doctors. It is most unfortunate in this Country. Someone must wake up and give justice to this noble profession which has and continues to take hit from all quarters including common man. more
