How brands will get around dual MRP?

I was recently at one gathering and one of the water brand owner was there. I discussed how govt will soon end double pricing. He laughed and said just like coffee day has its own water brand spicejet indigo pvr all will launch their own brand and then govt won't be able to do nothing.

When u go to watch a movie in pvr u will pay 100 for a bottle called pvr water single MRP.

Let's think about how can govt counter this? more

Government has no interest to stop this. They are interested in collection of funds from these companies. more
What they want in India is what the developed countries are going to do away. That way they still again want to take India back.USA /UK/Europe,are going to regulate, coffee, milk, and bread rates. And so vegetables for a comfortable living. Our bosses think it is time to make money in India and South Africa. Take a bottle of water-drink before entering the theater, and throw the bottle, use their urinal in a great way. for him the sanitation expenses will increase. He will realize the customers. If one does that way-like in airports/water/tiffen-others will follow. more
It is very simple thing to do govt that govt will impose max MRP for the particular item, same has been implied on few medicine. more
I don't think, any Government authority has power to regulate MRP. One can easily carry up to 500 ml water in aircraft. And general public can boycott any such outlet charging exorbitantly over and above MRP such as PVR. In that case, they will not only lose income on inflated MRP products but also lose their core business such as Movies. That would be the real lesson for them. more
Why not in this country people carry their own water bottle rather than paying unreasonable price to such product... more
They don't allow you to take water bottle inside the Cinema hall more
If the govt is keen on curbing this menace once and for all , it has what was known as the monopolies and restrictive Trade Practices act, coupled with the BICP. It could invoke these for pricing of water to begin with and make an example of this to curb these malpractices once and for all. more
