How many of us analyse our mobile bill?

Nowadays it is a common practice of major mobile companies to activate unwanted facilities which we or our kids inadvertently tapped a button while playing a Game or thru other media option(the ads coming in between the Games or in other apps). It is time to check your bill if it has been added some charges in lieu of unwanted services which may be:
1. Caller id charges.
2. Some kind of service(which you are unaware of ).
Moreover it should be like; if we have a balance Data in our account, it should be carry-forward to our next billing cycle same like if we have a balance amount in our account. more

Many details are provided along with the bill either soft copy or printed copy by Airtel. printed copy is chargeable. If further help is required, contact customer care, they guide you in selecting appropriate plan based on your past usage. more
Without opting for a facility, charges are being levied. It is a commercial attempt to increase revenue. Now a days the customer care is taking immediate steps by dialling their number. But many layman are victims of such bad practice of auto deduction of charges on activating the SIM. more
It is a government entity and whatever service you get from them consider as Bonus. They were almost without any job until recently. Did lots of advertisement and given lots of concessions to attract the public and got what they were looking for. Now they really fooled their customers. They have very few efficient and qualified staff to look after the requirements of their very large customer community. Most of the current staff got the job on the reservation; which means no comparison with the real employees of the private sector. There is no meaning of complaining but satisfy with what you get from them as the bonus for the monthly payment of services expected from them, unfortunately... more
at least a part of the balance data of customer must be carried over and law to the effect need be passed. Having used nearly all the telecom oprs for data i found that due to extremely slow speeds data for which one has paid either as prepaid or keeps paying as post paid remains unutilized. Hence in effect it is cheating since while they claim speeds UPTO 2 mbps , it is usually in kbps only and most often in many areas it is very very slow resulting in it being unusable. Thats like selling someone a bag of rice and then telling him he can pick up and take away only one grain at a time. Alternately if the speed falls below a certain level it must be taken as cheating and money deposited back in the account of the user . If there is upto level for higher speed ; there has to be a 'not below' level for lowest speed too in data packs. more
Please do not hand over your mobile sets to children and strangers as children may activate some services by ignorance by not knowing the implication and strangers may use it deliberately and leave the activation open for future bill. However one must check the bill in detail, otherwise these charges will continue in next bills. more
