1. In urban areas the individual colony secretaries/ presidents shall be involed in this abhiyan.
2. Municipal authorities shall arrange periodic meetings with colony secretaries and presidents for understanding their problems in implementation / monitering of the schemes of swach bharat abhiyan. more

It will take some time before garbage-bins are made available at short distances and, even longer for the people concerned inculcating the habit of regular emptying and maintaining these bins. In the mean time we can resolve not to litter at all cost, even if it is a small toffee wrapper......I am doing it, at times these are finally dropped in the dust-bin at home. more

Excellent suggestion. Ministry must take this. Secondly. Empower the RWAs. Break the garbage Mafia by contractors and councillors corruption. more
