How to get decisions from Consumer Courts!!

I have a case lying with forum since 2011. District forum took 4 years and passed judgment right near the day of retirement of the judge. Since 2015 appeal is pending with State Forum since 2015. 4 years and waiting.
Is there anything that can move the case of decision? No worries about outcome but DECIDE please.
Any help will be great. more

I could never understand what are the reasons for adjournment and how many times adjournments can be given. Is there any limit on number of adjournments. What is the time limit for keeping the case pending? more
The consumer Courts are to decide the case within 3 months otherwise the very purpose of establishing the same will get defeated. The Consumer Courts and Debt Recovery Tribunals were established for speedy delivery justice and recovery of bad loans but due to corruption and non-accountability everything has gone hay wire. Mr. Vijya Malya was granted 400 adjournments in 3 years by a DRT. Since huge amounts are involved, the unscrupulous businessmen pay hefty fees to touts to buy stay orders and unlimited adjournments. The Indian judicial system is most corrupt and non-accountable and warrant judicial reforms on TOP PRIORITY. more

Most of the consumer courts are taking years together to dispose any case, which is against the fundamental principles. more
Please read the statement of the minister for consumer affairs on such matters Press information Bureau release Shri Chaudhary also mentioned that the District Fora should avoid giving any adjournments and should be encouraged to decide cases on the first hearing itself and requested State Commissions to monitor this aspect. The Minister further invited suggestions from the States for strengthening the redressal mechanism and the support required from the Centre for this purpose. He asserted that the Government has already strengthened the National Consumer Helpline as the alternate system for resolving consumer complaints so that the consumers need not approach the consumer fora forresolving their grievances. The Minister expected that this Conference will come out with a future action plan for better strengthening the existing consumer disputes redressal mechanisms. more
