HP printers

I believe that the profiteering authority has done great service to citizens by opening an interface via the local circles.

Now coming to issue of printer cartridges, I believe it is also a HP issue.

HP has actually increased MRP substantially after gst introductoon in july and when gst was reduced in nov the HP never reduced MRP and therefore pocketed the extra tax consumer paid.

This is classic case of profiteering. The authority must take cognisance and take suo moto action on this.

The authority must also understand that we will not file a complaint for 60-70 rupees. We are doing a favour to you by giving this information. You must donur research and book HP and when you collect say 100 crores that hp has pocketed, you must take a portion of it and reform consumer court, open more circles like interfaces and create better websites for citizens.

Good case for investigation by proper authority. Everything will be on record of the importing company /company.. Though the increase in nominal after GST, the numbers of units of sale are more, so the monetary effect will be more. They should set example for other defaulters that Govt. is watching your activities and no tax evader will be spared. more

Sir, laws needs to be strict, so that no one could dare to cheat others. more
Just an example, cost of four cartridges for HP8600 has almost doubled - over the useful life of a printer, you spend more on cartridges than the original cost of the printer more
Dear Sirs: Tata Docomo has done the same thing. It advertised that the landline CDMA system was closing down and they will give us the new phone instrument and new number with GSM. When we bought the new instrument for Rs.1,500/- they did not give us a receipt saying it will come up in the email. Two months have passed and the authorities and the store are now not giving answers. They have pocketed huge sums of monies from consumers and we do not even have a receipt to prove the same. The instrument is of poor quality, we cannot hear the person on the other line clearly. When we approached the Tata Docomo store he put his hands up. Who should we contact now????? How much GST has been pocketed? more
