I have a similar experience with urban company. The AC which was running well, after servicing was cooling less. The technicians who came to do the job were more interested in recharging gas. They said my ac was cooling less before starting the process. I told them I wanted to have the temperature check before servicing and after. They said they don't have the meter. The helper brought along by the main technician was a feeble fellow who found it difficult to handle the weight of the ac. Due to covid I did not want to get closer and help them. In fact urban company had assured that they would handle everything and wanted to stay away. Now my dilemma is that I being a senior citizen I never permit any outsider inside my home, even domestic helps I avoid. Now how do I call them back to to check the ac ? Urban company seems to be totally impervious to the actual concerns and the technicians they sent are more interested in making money through gas recharge and parts change. Incompetence indeed more
Even if it costs a wee bit more, it's always of advantage in the long run to build up a support-system around the place where you live. Be it a doctor, grocery store, an electrician, a carpenter, a plumber, a hardware shop, a hairdresser, a pharmacy etc. etc. We let our electrician look after the AC servicing. He manages everything. more
Urban Company has appointed such low grade technicians and they also don't take action against the complaint. Latest is that they will give you a call with single ring when you write a complaint and then send a message that they tried contacting us but we did not respond. Its a unreliable company. Irony is that the Consumer Forum also not taking action. I have put my grievance on the consumer forum, and after providing me the complaint number, no further action has been taken. My tweets to @Jagograhakjago is unable to wake them and also the minister @Ramvilaspaswan whom also I tweeted. more
