Indian healthcare collapsing

The healthcare system of India is soon going to collapse. Along with shortage of beds/oxygen cylinders, there is a shortage of Remdesivir and Tocilizumab in hospitals. Pt relatives are being asked to procure medications. Our doctors are doing their best, but is the Govt doing it’s best ? more

Let's stop blaming each other and start creating awareness about following appropriate covid behaviour and getting vaccinated at the earliest to arrest the spread of the virus. Yes, our healthcare system is fully operational and cannot sustain such rapid surge. Atleast we can help them with what I stated above. In pandemic like this and other natural calamities, no matter how you are equipped, everything will go for a toss. As all know what happened to state of Texas in US due to natural calamity. So despite bad behaviour of our netas, let's be sincere and honest citizen. more
The tax money goes to maintaining politicians, govt employees and the frivolous freebies and project. There are no funds for affordable healthcare and education. The govt works on PPP model, where the private businesses make huge profits at the expense of the public. If you can afford, you will get good healthcare, otherwise.. All the talk of budget and investments in healthcare is only for the private sector and their stakeholders. Sorry state of affairs. more
Healthcare system in India has never been on track. Government after Government has actually failed to augment the sysytem. Corporates came in and brightened the scene for sometimes. That has been labelled as the honeymoon period of Healthcare in India. Unfortunately many of them have exited after making their money and new ones are trying their hands. Yet minus the corporates and the Private players Healthcare in India is inadequate. To make things worst Privatisation of the Medical education system in the Country too has damaged the Professional image of the profession. One needs more attention and funds to lift the system which has probably the best manpower in the World even today. Dr.P.N.Kakar more
