IS ACER Laptop Company selling sub-standard (Duplicate) product in India?

I have purchased an ACER One 14Z422 Laptop in buy back scheme in Lucknow India. My ACER laptop is showing its SL No UNCTESI015I3544638 on bill while the sticker pasted on back side of Laptop is showing SL No. UNCTESI0098280064A4VWO and SNID 828001610431.

Now, my problem is, when I am registering the number, given on sticker on backside of laptop , on ACER website through on line the dialogue on screen displayed that the SL No or SNID is not valid and when I register the sl No given on bill no information displayed on screen ( window does not run).

I can not find the solution. Can any person guide me in this regard? more

Why not you contact the seller where you purchased you laptop from? more
Your concern is genuine and your doubts cannot be ruled out. The only solution which comes to my mind is approaching the consumer court. However I had recently purchased a Lenovo Thinkpad. After some days I faced some problems. I had mailed my case to their service centre and recd a call from them. The person at the other end explained all the steps and solved my problem. There is no issue now. more
ACER is a good and reputed brand outside India. It is only in INDIA that people have all sorts of problems - created by these stupid, greedy and shameless bloody Indian business houses. They simply do not care for anything. They do not know what is ethics and they have NEVER EVER HEARD of fair business practices. Consumer satisfaction is alien to them. Their so-called educational standards and degrees are "Bought over" items. So, what do you do with them? Elementary. SUMMARY EXECUTION. No questions asked. Period. more
Dell is replacing older parts in their service center. I changed same part multiple times in my warranty period. After warranty period, I had to change that part noew it is working as expected. They target to complete the warranty period , that's all. more
