I had 2 days hotel booking via oyo in south delhi & i re-confirmed my booking with oyo & with the hotel as well 2 days prior my checkin to the hotel as well. But when i reached hotel in the night at around 10:30 with my family (wife & 2 small kids), i was denied the checkin, i immediately called oyo assist but they couldn't book any alternate room for me. Finally, in the night around 11:30 PM they asked me to go for a new booking either with oyo or non-oyo & also promised me that they would refund the difference amount as well. After putting lot of efforts in teh midnight i could find a normal hotel with higher rent than what i had earlier booked & & also with no luxury. It also ruined my vacation plan, impacted my wife's work the next day she had, i had to hold the taxi for next 2 hrs until i got the room... lot of incovenience i faced because of worst handling bookings by Oyo. I had to look out for another room in the next day, fortunately the taxi driver was good else i would have had a night mare. Its been a week, i am following up with Oyo for the refund but even after multiple followups with Oyo, also after regular followups & explaining my issue newly to each Oyo customer care executive regularly whenever i call them, i could get the amount which i paid today that too in 2 installments by Oyo but refund for the difference amount is yet to be initiated by them. Oyo are cheaters & badly managed online portal.I too had the similiar experience & it took me 2 months to get my refund. I used to call their call center nos,they use to keep me waiting for long long time,i too waited some times more than a hour. The problem is Oyo is not paying hotel owners for the rooms utilized & sold by Oyo earlier. I had used my credit card for hotel booking on Oyo.Finally after 2 months they were not willing to transfer the refund to my credit card account.They asked for my personal bank account.I gave them.They replied the transfer is not taking place.They took other 15 days.Finally i got my refund.
