Jio Fibre - Non refund of Security Deposits and misguiding customer

I had took a Jio fibre Connection in Ahmedabad of Rs 999 plan during December, where they were offering one month free subscription of a few OTT.
I sent a mail on 30th June to "Jio Care" saying that "I am leaving Ahmedabad with Bag and Baggage on 15th July on my transfer and I wish to continue Internet facility till 14th July ( my subscription was due for renewal from 09th July) '". Their customer care executive called and told me that I had to lodge my request on the day of disconnection and had to renew subscription from 08th July to avail Internet facility.
2. In between lots of confusion created on how to place my request for disconnection. Different person asking different number of ID proof ( My request was through registered email and mobile number) Then they said me to give my fathers name and Passport number.
3. When different "Jio Care" executive, they seems to be only to take care of "Jio", giving different version, I asked through mail point wise, how to initiate for disconnection of services and refund of security deposits. Then their reply came, which read as:
1. Only after lodging request they will place request to respective area engineer within 48 hrs and will be disconnected only on 7th day after my lodging request.
2. Then a person will visit my house to check Devices (Modem/ Set Top Box)- 2days time.
3. After verification of device he will report to their department and then they will ask for my account details to give my security deposit Rs 1500 back. It will take further 10 days from taking my account number.

4.After, getting above mail I send them on 08th July to initiate disconnection immediately on 8th July itself( though I had already paid full month subscription from 9th July. And also requested them to complete their process of disconnection before I leave Ahmedabad on 15th July. (Referring my request email dated 30th June)
5. But, no Customer Care expected, I contacted local marketing executive of Jio, who had visited our place marketing "Jio Fiber" connection. He was kind enough to arrange for disconnection/verification of devices on 14th July and taken my account details on 16th July. He assured me that he will arrange for refund of security deposit Rs 1500 within 14 days.

6. I contacted him on 2nd August and told him that I have not yet got my security deposit? He still not yet replied.

7. When I sent a mail to "Jio Care" asking for my refund of security deposits, the reply came - " Since, you have taken free one month subscription, only Rs 750 eligible and has been arranged for credit to my account"
8. I wrote back to Jio Care that " Free One month subscription" was offered by your company to sale the product and nowhere written / told to me or any customer about this. Hence, I requested them to send their Senior/ Appellate authority of Customer Care to request for full refund or return all devices taken from me and get back Rs 750. Their reply is awaited for the last 3 days.

Customers are being taken for granted by these companies. Request all Regulatory Authority to keep a cell, where customer can approach and get their grievances resolved.

Thanks

i too have very similar experience..... i had Joi fiber at my home . staying alone and working i hardly been in home and so my usage was not worth to their minimum package . so i sent disconnection request. after few days their call center lady called me and she tried to convince me to continue with lower package with lesser GB package . i found workable and i did renew my subscription and my connection was recharged and same day evening my connection stopped working. this was during first lock down april 2020 so no service center was working and i kept complaining for almost 2 months finally i came to know that they have cancelled my connection now form that day on wards every week one person calls up for asking to surrender th router and ask me whole details, then advice me that first u surrender then u will get refund of deposit and the recharge money is gone no refund possible if they accepted my money t the connection started and then got disconnected ..its funny FROM 18 MONTHS I M REPLYING EVERY ONE ONCE A WEEK , MORE THEN 30 MAILS SENT , RESPONSE IS ...........................:"WE ARE WORKING ON IT WILL REVERT SHORTLY" ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING SYSTEMS, RESPONSES AND PROCESS more
I have also noticed certain discrepencies in their working. 1) Specially for Senior Citizens, as they are not convergent with online recharge, they should appoint Agents, who can recharge for you. Like other agencies and even Jio Mobile system has. Due to this I have recharged twice on the same date. Later on when I took up the matter with them to Refund my extra payment made. But they refused saying it is not their policy to refund or adjust. more
Promises made while signing the contract are bound to be broken. Thatis the business ethics here. more
In banking there is a term "words and figures differs". Similar is the case here. The word, which Jio Fibre has mentioned in the terms has not be complied with figure (refund). A business tactics. more
Is it the secret and methodology to become the richest man of India? more
