It's quite true. I switched on my Jio dongle soon after purchase to discover that I had used 70% of my daily 1 GB before I had started using the dongle at all! I was informed that it would be reset to the promised 10 Mbps speed by 2 am. I set my alarm for 2 am and checked and, as promised the speed was back to 10Mbps. I switched off immediately as I was sleepy and went back to bed. When I woke the next morning and switched on the dongle, I had an sms within minutes telling me that I had used 90% of my 1GB download!!! This was without using the dongle at all except switching it on! I suspect it is a way Reliance manages to provide connectivity. They give you a few seconds of high speed connectivity and then reduce it to below 1Mbps. So much so that it doesn't register on Ookla speedtest. There must be something the MRTP Act to remedy this insidious practice.. more
Speed and usage problem is with everybody woh gio I was having bsnl and for entire month there was no problem but when it is down it takes weeks to get repairer reasoning somebody has cut the cable while digging road we are not responsible. Otherwise it is cheaper and best. more
When I was using local broadband service provider, one Gb was more than enough. Now I am using jiofi. Now within one or two hours my.1 Gb vanished. I think something wrong in Jiofi. more
What Jio had provided free of charge for 6 months, now they are collecting their dues by crooked means. In this world " there is nothing as free lunch", so those who continue with Jio will have pay the charges for free service enjoyed by them. more
Its a Ambani company. time has come when Indians should know their ethics. remember Reliance communication and how they cheated lacs of us with their Rs 500 phones. Wrong billing, excessive billing were order of the day and they are not paying crores they have taken from banks. Country must rise agains all Ambani products of all types. more
