Johnson-Johnson profiteering

J&J which makes lots of baby products is also profiteering. See attached. MRP of its top to toe baby was 150 rupees in oct 2017 product for qty 210 ml.

In nov 2017 after gst rate was reduced from 28% to 18% the price has not been reduced to 138 or so but kept the same. Very smartly they have reduced qty in bottle from 210 to 200ml.

Kindly take action and get consumer monies refunded. more

Our government is to be held wholly responsible for encouraging such profiteering by the majority of the manufacturers by keeping hundreds of products under the highest tax bracket first and then reducing the rates stage by stage, when its machinery was the most corrupt & incompetent in handling such a situation with iron hands? It is not a case or question of Jonson & Johnson but majority of the manufacturers in this country have pocketed the benefit of tax reduction and awfully the concerned government agencies are simply silent spectators and the government is unmoved. Incidentally, it was reported in this forum last year by some of our members that the Johnson Baby products are not baby friendly in reality, which contain some cancerous (skin) substance. Hence, its better to keep our children away of these products. more
