Kellogs Insect infested breakfast cereal

Hi I bought a Kellogs Museli which was infested with insects. I took up the matter with Kellogs directly and they replaced the pack with a new one. I did not like the matter of fact, casual manner in which the complaint was handled and insisted on a lab report and fair compensation(at least 2 vouchers, as is the practise for Kellogs abroad). I have been following up with them regularly but they do not comment on any policy as such. Replacement of a box is done even by the local baniya-I don't need Kellogs to do that.
I have attached all the correspondence I have had with the company.
Can someone guide me as to how to approach a consumer court?
Thanks more

I suggest that Consumer Grievance Forum to take up the matter with concerned FD Authority for checking Kellogg's process of inspection and packing. more
I bought a packet of Jam In biscuits from a departmental store that turned out to be totally bad. However, even after writing several mails to the company (Parle), to FSSAI, and posting many times on Parle FB page, no one has bothered to respond. I do not want for a replacement as cost is paltry, but my question is how can a company sell such trash, that too a food item, and then not even bother to apologize to consumer? Also, they don't even care what is written on their FB page. Seems companies have the attitude that it does not matter if a few customers are unhappy, as 000s' other customers are available. more
Kellogs will blame it on your storage, storage temperature etc. Better we try with country made Kellogs like 'awal'/chuda etc. you also do not like too much of preservatives. even raw fruits just plucked from the tree from your backyard are the dens of white microbes swarming......try seeing through a looking glass. another point, never blame it on any multinationals.....it will be a boomerang......refer Maggie case......returned with a bang. It is not a question only of replacement of the infested stuff and issuing of vouchers.....why in the first place are they selling infested edibles....was it past the expiry date or it got infested Within the expiry date......the Company MUST come forward and explain.....Kellogs is a famous company....one does not expect them to sell infested products.....they must withdraw the batch From market and ENSURE that this does NOT happen in future.....or do they want a public protest.....? Indian public can now look after its interests......... more
