Loreal profiteering
Loreal continues to profiteer with its saloon products. See attached product when gst rate was 28% was priced at MRP 1500. When GST rate was reduced, the MRP was lowered by less than 2% to 1465. It should have been lowered by 8-9% atleast as tax rate reduced by 10%.

Such things need to be reported to NAA. Process very simple, visit naa.gov.in, register your self, login into your account. After logging in, click on Consumers and read the 3rd option, Guidelines for Consumers, as first step. This describes the important details one needs to know before making a complaint. Ensure that all details to be reported in complaint are available and then lodge a complaint. NAA is pretty serious, systematic and neutral in assessing complaints. It will buildup our confidence that our complaints will not just be 'another one to another Govt body'! They have just completed just a little less than 20 complaints/cases. See some of their judgments, I was particularly amazed, in Case 14/2018, where they have awarded a penalty of nearly 7 crores to defaulter. And what an immense fight between the legal team of defaulter and exemplary and logical analysis they used based on Returns filed by defaulter! Read some of these and it will change our thinking. It is the fault of GST enforcement team, who are not taking action, even after reporting the matter. more

majority of the companies when the gst was lowered have slightly increased their prices so that people will not notice it.Unless the end users observe the same and report the same and also it is necessary for the gst committee to take necessary action on the corrupt practices more
