MakeMyTrip is fraud.

MakeMyTrip has been a headache.It frauds with people.last time I booked a hotel from MMT app and paid in advance,when I reached the hotel,hotel was asking for 1400 extra because the tariff I booked is not conveyed to the hotel from MMT.
Now again,I booked a round trip flight from delhi to patna,Due to some reason I had to cancel Delhi to patna flight and I continued with Patna to Delhi flight.while web check in,Indigo told me my ticket is cancelled on mmt request. Makemytrip still showed my booking is confirmed and was messaging me for web check in for upcoming flight,but my ticket was cancelled actually on indigo and so I could not travel..then this MMT updated my booking with travel completed when I was not allowed to onboard the plane .I have been calling them,they r just taking time,not doing anything. more

Please sort out the matter with Make my Trip. There must be some technical snag. more  
I booked thro' Makemytrip for most of my bookings but I used to contact or keep in touch with hotels also directly to avoid any confusion. I never encountered any issues with them since the time i started using their services. I received full refund (minus convenience fee) of all my 8 trips from MMT when flights were cancelled due to Covid . To my surprise their dealing with me was Good and speed of resolution was excellent. more

Failed to understand why people are so crazy to have transaction with such service providing agency. It's more convenient to book the ticket directly, may be one has to pay little more. The service providing agencies were really rustic during the pandemic as revenue loss is huge. There is no firm guidelines and policy framework for such establishments. There is no agencies monitoring the performance. Hence; such activities are in doldrum and consumers are getting cheated for no fault. This institution has got a poor reputation now for all such misdeeds. more  
After similar experiences, even we have gone over for the past three years to direct bookings with airlines and hotels/resorts. A big headache is over, really !!! more
