malpractices by Indigo Airlines

I booked a flight by Indigo airlines. when I tried to do web checkin, I was required to select a seat and all seats were paid. So unless you shell out minimum Rs.200 for the seat, you can't checkin. My booking reference to flight is LKVW5U and flight is for today 20th November.
This is unfair and consumers need to raise voice against this airlines. Off late since Air India and Jet Airways are in trouble, this airlines is squeezing consumers and Government agencies need not be just spectators but take corrective actions.
Consumers need to unite and compel government to form a law against all such service providers. more

This is unethical practice and unethical charge, and must stop immediately. After all, Indigo is providing a travel service and there cannot be any additional charge like that for the seat booking. The patients will not go standing and seating appropriate and comfortable has to be provided within the cost of flying. more  
Indigo indulges in many more malpractices to enhance their profits. Main revenue source is cancellation of tickets due to supposed delay in reporting, even when the flight itself is delayed. more  
Airlines wants to extract money from pax on one heading or the other.This will continue as air travel is increasing every year by atleast 10-15%. more  
1. While web check-in, all the window and aisle seats are to be paid for. It is not unique to Indigo alone, most airlines follow such unethical practice. This is not done 2. Some airlines give some discount to Senior Citizens. However, those availing of this concession are not allowed to web check. They have to stand in long lines at the airport. This is the price for availing of the paltry concession. 3. There should be a separate counter to facilitate senior citizens, passengers on wheel chairs, single mothers with babies, and the disabled. DGCA is urged to take a serious note on the subject. more  
Most of the airlines indulge in behaviour which may not be obviously unfair but often skirting on unfairness. It is a pity that though profit should be a motive for all business, ethical profiteering should be the practice. This is patently lacking with most business establishments. more
