OK but hall marking does not necessarily give you 100% protection of the quality you have paid for. You can have this statement testified by purchasing any item duly hall marked and get it tested elsewhere. more  
One wonders whether this would give rise to jeweller migration wave in the country. more  
There are many exceptions- this will be the new method to cheat more  
It is only a symbol for getting satisfaction. It provides a scope to the officials to generate income in the name of verification. more  
Another avenue has been opened for corruption. God knows when when this crazy habit of buying gold as an investment? more
