MIS SELLING BY AIRTEL MOBILE SERVICES- PLAN CHANGE

AIRTEL has found a new method of mis selling their post paid customers .i have been using a gold399plan for last couple of years with no difficulty. one fine morning a received a call from airtel that my data use is more (500mb free in the existing plan ) & if i switch to my plan599 my bill amount shall get reduced. After a prolonged discuss whereby i even insisted for a email, they took my consent on phone & the plan got changed. When i received the bill i found that the bill amount has in fact increased. On studying the fine print i found that they have increased the individual rates as under
1) to airtel mobile from 0.3/min to 0.5/min for local
2) to other mobile from 0.4 /min to 0.5/min
3) to airtel cug from 0.3/min to 0.5/min
4)national roaming from 0.6/min to 0.8/min
5)national roam std from 0.8/min to 1.15/min
Even the free talk time is reduced from 600 min to 540min
My repeated mails have not been able to make my point understood to them. their executives have repeated told me that the earlier plan is no more available. & hence my request to revert back to earlier plan is rejected. I feel cheated & helpless as a senior citizen & a small consumer in the hands a of a huge corporate on account of the following issues
1.If any plan is discontinued , is there any public announcement /advertisement/ notice on web site?
2. Why a email communication was not sent to me individually in case the plan is discontinued. Airtel had my email id & i am regularly getting the bills on this id .
3. if the change from one plan to another costly plan can be done on line why the reversal can not be done to the earlier plan on the customer request particularly when there are other customers using the earlier plan. i feel they are /will be mis selling to the existing customers using this plan also.
4. Do I have the right to ask for the recording of my conversation from airtel.
5.The Appellate authority in airtel has repeated the same reply without addressing my issue of mis selling which means that they are doing this as a policy.
6. What is the remedy to me . Even the TRAI web site refers me back to the service provider.
7. How can we stop this mis selling more

Regarding my problem, it was not solved by the appellate office of the Vodafone WB circle. Then I lodge complain to Consumer forum. After two month I'd not found any result, I lodge another complain through CORE Centre (www.core.nic.in). Just few days later Vodafone WB appellate office called me and agree to solved the problem in favour of me (it is reflected in my mobile account). Though I've not aware that which organisation (CORE or Consumer forum) has taken the initiative. more
they put an internet pack of Rs.650/- per month without my knowledge and consent. When I visited their office and told them that I had never opted for this pack as I am not using a Smartphone, they were not able to resolve. I got waiver of Rs.1300/- for the 2 month internet pack by email from their Mr Lalit Samelia. However, this waiver is not showing in Airtel records. Meanwhile, Airtel has stopped my outgoing and incoming calls. more
