Mismanagement of misleading ads

The consumer minister i dont know who so ever it is seems like a clueless or industry friendly minister.

Why in the world would u have a failed industry self regulating body manage misleading or inappropriate ad regulation in India.

The staff paid by industry body will do whatever they feel like to protect industry by issuing lame notices which will keep getting thrown in dustbin.

Why is CCPA not managing this? Why arent they booking all those brands who are portraying women inappropriately? more

Maybe it is time to look within & realize about concept of vulgarity. I agree with the writer that advertisement industry is 'using' women to attract crowds. What about the holy cows as majority of women of our society, the so called 'protected' women who have a poweful male figure as security-father,brother,Liv in friend( allowed by Supreme Court)..? These women are more dangerous than women who are earning money through the efforts put in by their male accomplices as admen/bad men ? Show me a single woman who can stand Alone on her two feets, work with her two hands & use One Head for betterment of Society... Yes there are rare examples of women who have done it without any form of support. Difficult task for lonely women but not impossible. more
For earning many young ladies do what ever the payers want to do. The parents, where ever available are also allowing the girls. more
what is indecency? what is vulgarity? Don't look at it . Put some raja ravi verma calendars on the walls and gaze at them. more
I agree with Shri Ranjit Biswas that young women are themselves responsible to perform the indecen scenes. At the same time the industry is to be blamed for luring young innocent girls showing greed for money. I also agree with Shri Rana that entertainment industry treats women, particularly the innocent young girls, are treated as commodity. This has to be checked by the regulator. more
Instead of blaming any third person, the women themselves should deny for any vulgarity. But for the sake of money they don't mind to go to any extent. more
