MRP Fraud by Taneja Jaquar East of Kailash
This store in east of kailash believes in deleting original mrp and overwriting with hand. He cheats customers like this.
Legal metrology should raid them immediately and jaquar should suspend its dealership unless there is collusion between jaquar and this dealer.
He has a 4 floor store and cheating consumers like this is not to be tolerated by us.

Sorry the MRP has to be printed and any correction done is illegal.selling below MRP is differant but alterations done is illegal and should be prosecuted to the seller and manufacturer both.jaquar is equally responsible if not initiating action against seller then are in collusion with this malpractice. Please read and understand the following. MRP is declared by the manufacturer and not the retailer. For all such items,the manufacturer gives a list giving MRP for different items which is available with all good retailsers. There is a very heavy discount of around 50% offered to the dealer who is at liberty to pass on to the customer as per his own will which normally is the negotiated (%) discount. Many years back, when I renovated my house, I got 40% discount on the price list due to the amount of purchase. As such as long as the retailer is selling below the list price, he cannot be questioned or penalized. This may not sound good but it is a hard fact. more

The Controller of Weights & Measures under the Department of Consumer Affairs of Delhi Government should be informed by the LC Manager of not only the violations but also of the unfair trade practice. It is the responsibility of the State Government. I hope the GoI in the Department of Consumer Affairs will formally remind the State Government of its responsibility. I also take this opportunity of pointing out another mischief that is being played by the Safal Vegetables & Fruit Stores/Shop, which I believe is the practice with majority of them, in Kishangarh, New Delhi-110070. The Store is located just opposite the Gaushala Gate in Kishangarh. The shop has two weighing machines; one is with data on their record of the vegetables and fruits with codes and prices for consumers, and the other computer operated weighing machine that takes out the cash memo type of receipts for the consumers on which the prices are fake and higher than the MRP/market prices, without any product code number and the MRP.
