I was able to download this judgement by Supreme Court yesterday where they permit restaurants/hotels selling water above MRP. Can the Government take this into appeal. What options do they have. more
I agree with Rajendra Lodhi why should the consumers go to court for such a issue as to mrp price being charged high for water bottles if they can't afford it don't go to restaurants and hotels obviously the bussiness sectors are here in the market to make a profit . more
This pro-businessman government will not take any action. They collect funds in the name of party fund and give all types of support to the business community. more
The matter can be taken with the relevant Deptt to amend the law and incorporate the provision that water is essential product and hence should not be sold even by restaurants at more than MRP. more
Sorry to write something that may sound irrelevant for the topic in discussion. Are we in need of Honorable Supreme to decide on such matters. Can not the administration of the country take reasonable implementable decisions? more
