MTR Foods cheating people

On 20.11.18 I placed an online order directly on MTR Site for kesari halwa and choclate drink for my aged mother. Till date neither have i got the goods nor refund nor any status is being informed. After trying to speak to their customer care several times I wrote an email to their customer care on 10.12.18. Immediately some one from their customer care called me and assured me that they would look into the matter and revert back. However, after a week a lady Soumya reverted back saying the parcel has been misplaced/lost by the courier company and they would be sending me another consignment again. I refused to take another consignment & told them to refund my money. She said ok they will refund my money. However after that no call or intimation of my money refund. Today 24.12.18 I again called their helpline @ 02.07pm and my good luck that I could speak to an executive - Dilip, told him the whole story n awaiting for my refund. He informs me that he will check and call me back. It's 2.40pm now and still waiting for his call. Hereby i wish to warn all customers not to buy MTR products from their online site. Their customer service is pathetic. They just usurp your money and don't even revert back. Surprisingly I ordered the kesari halwa packets from amazon on 1.12.18 and the same was delivered on 2.12.18. I request the consumer court to take strict action against MTR and any such companies which cheat the consumers. more

One should go for online marketing, specifically, when payment is made in advance, only on careful selection of a popular and reputed eCommerce company. Problems of this sorts are started if a wrong company is selected with a hope of saving some extra bucks. more
We can't keep silence just because it's time consuming as far as cost is concerned, we will get it reimbursed by way of order of court. more
Request all local circle members to completely avoid untested e-commerce sites. To me, Amazon may be a little expensive, but it neither falters on dates or quality of the product. more
@Swamy Swarna, Sir, if the company has failed to deliver the ordered item and then do not refund the amount, then what would a consumer call the company. What is the right of the company not to refund the money. However, I find there are others also who have complained similarly. In such a scenario the consumer is right to call the company as cheater as basically besides other problems, the consumer has been duped off with the money. more
