Myntra must be booked
Myntra continues to levy excess GST from consumers and this practice is continuing from July 1 2017. It levies GST on price in all situations of discounts and as long as final price is under MRP. Reasoning given is that we will charge this as we are not violating law since final price is under MRP.
Recently 6000 rupee item after discount 3000 rupees then charged 6% GST on original price. The must have made almost 300-400 crores so far like this in 12 months.
Will profiteering authorities take suo moto action on them?? more

this is a strategy followed by every on line platform they hoodwink the buyers , govt should make a law that on line prices should be shown inclusive of gst , so that the buyer knows how much he is paying for it shipping gst any other charges should be clearly indicated , weights and measures dept of every state should be given the task of monitoring and looking into the complaints , most agencies turn a blind and go after small shop keepers so that they can impose fines and get laurels from their superiors , as most on line portals have their own legal dept so any such notice served by concerned dept to passed on to their legal depts , local bodies should seal the on line portals office this will be effective more
