Never buy Samsung -service is pathetic

I dont know whats peoples experience with Samsung Aftersales service. For us its been the most pathetic service experiences 3 times in a row.

The thing about it is they just dont show up giving experiences, earlier it was due gst they said.

Also they take all your into including model details part number etc and then a a fellow comes after 5-6 days to take the same information.

So inefficient.

I strongly urge consumer ministry to set up after sales services standards in the country.

If someone doesnt have after sales services network and response times they shouldnt be allowed to sell their wares and get aways. Several chinese companies selling appliances also doing this.

Need for standards and enforcemeent. Dont give them license otherwise more

Samsung products should just be boycotted more  
You have not named the specific Samsung product for which you experienced after-sales-problem. I had Samsung make Refrigerator & Washing Machines for about 15 years and I found their after-sales-service was satisfactory. However, I after I purchased a PANASONIC Washing two back, I found their after-sales-service quite unsatisfactory and unfriendly. I agree that, as a general, almost all the product manufacturers do not pay required attention and seriousness in after sale service but they concentrate only on selling more and more products to pockets profits. Therefore, there must strong legislation to make it mandatory to render efficient after sales service to the customers. Perhaps, more and more customers must initiate legal actions like consumer cases against such products manufacturers who neglect to render after sales service. Further, wide publicity should also be given in the newspapers and social media regarding inferior quality of products and after sales services of particular manufacturers, so that customers may be cautious in future. more  
Yes, if we paid a tax to the Govt. then they are responsible for things pertaining to the services more  
1. After sale services should be strictly controlled and certified according to quality controlled ISO standards. The same should be delivered to the customer duly stamped by the seller. 2. In most of the cases after sales service conditions express..."at the discretion of the seller or manufacturer", which is high handed term solely to be exploited later against the buyer. 3.It should be categorically stated that in case buyer is unsatisfied with the product or after sale service, he should be free to return the product with full refund of the cost within a period of 90 days from the delivery or actual installation by the company. 4. There should be mechanism for resolving the disputes between seller buyer and service provider in every district within a stipulated period in any case not exceeding 30 days. more
