Omicron - study waste water
India should put focus on SARS-CoV-2 RNA waste water surveillance in all cities where community (non-travel) cases are being found. Over the next 2 weeks We must look out for increasing RNA (surrogate for viral load) at these sites - which indicates increasing community transmission.

People are having fear but still not doing complete protocol to be followed to avoid spread of Covid.It needs complete surveillance & check on people nit following the safety measures especially mask & social distancing more
No power in India can control pandemics, air and water pollution unless the population is controlled. See the pollution level in Norway, UK, Scotland etc. and China/India/Pakistan. Less population will leave more space for greeneries, ponds, rivers, less generation of waste, vehicular traffic, burning of waste/coal/kerosene as fuel and manageable crowd at public places. more
