online pharmacies

These pharmacies,on the face of it,are perfectly legal, and are selling genuine medicines through valid reciepts and paers,on the basis of prescriptions forwarded to them. The Govt. is falling into the trap of these shopkeepers, who do not follow any rules,over-charge and even sell duplicate medicines.I have tried to purchase through them;they sell genuine medicines, send a valid reciept, which shows even the taxes/GST paid by them not only on the products but even the delievery charges. The shopkeepers have gone to the court and obtained stay without the opposite party being heard.I have saved a lot of money and got genuine medicines on line. more

I find the on-Line pharmacies very convenient and cheaper than the stores. more
A layman making statements on whether a medicine is "genuine" or "fake" is something I find it hard to digest. Personally, I would be afraid of making such a claim. Can anyone please help ! more
This is just a ruse by brick & mortar pharmacies to get rid of the online pharmacies that are genuine and sell medicines at cheaper prices. more
As far as I can see, being a physician, I have ordered some medicines from online pharmacies as they are not available locally and have found that the whole process is transparent. No mistake, no fleecing and arrives on time. Better than the local pharmacies run by unqualified people who intentionally change the brands written by doctors or cheat the patient by giving costlier brands as they themselves will receive incentives. Online pharmacies should be allowed by under regulations and inspections by drug authorities. This will also reduce bribes to government officials in the drug inspector division. more
Their is currently no way of verifying the authenticity of the medicines sold online. since medicines directly endangers the life it has to be brought under control, which is currently difficult in case of online pharmacies. It is difficult to verify their source of procurement, storage and delivery in case of complaint. some of these issues are also their with the offline pharmacies but they can be physically verified in case of any complaint. more
