ORDEAL METTED OUT BY HP ONLINE COMPUTER SHOPPING & NON DELIVERY OF PRODUCT AFTER ADVANCE PAYMENT

I placed one online order for buying HP laptop from HP Online store. Paid the advance booking money and promised that I shall get the laptop within 3/4 weeks time. However now about 45 days passed and they are delay-dallying about the delivery. They are sending soft invoice copy with wrong delivery & billing address which is about 100km from my residence, courier company site declaring that it is delivered. While calling help line of HP informing that corrected invoice being sent next 15 minutes , next day they are sending same invoice, they informing that laptop will be delivered in by next evening but it is coming..... since last 45 days these are the activities going on without any end to the harassment to me. I paid the full among of Rs.1,05,000/- online. I wrote all these to HP Director ( sales) and a reminder yesterday. But no response from him. I get regular standard cut paste mail from HP customer care department that it is informed to concerned team and they will look after it. In between I got many SMS that order is confirmed and payment received and they are arranging the product by 08/5/18 ( I placed order on 7/5/18 and order confirmation says it will be delivered by one day i.e 8.5.18 and same date maintained in all SMS messages.

Now after all I these I feel exhausted and fed up that in this digital India days, how come one premier Software / system company like HP can treat / mis-treat its customer so pathetically ? I need some guidance from the community here, how to deal with the company after so much harassment , lies, mis information passed onto me and I feel trapped into the purchase and they are not allowing also to cancel the order and money refund. more

That is the bane of online payments. I placed an order with HP but said I would pay by cheque or cash on delivery as my order was a small one. I got it extra fast, in time and great delivery! more  
Instead of wasting time by running here and there and referring the issue to Local Circle, you should have gone to the Consumer Forum and file a suit against the company along with the related documents and evidences! more  
My experiance is also bad, I paid Rs.4500/- for AAKASH TABLET Ubislate 7C(i),which never delivered to me. Mr. Tapas should go to consumer court without loss of time of one year. more  
You should never buy costly products online. ALL business without exception are cheats! Anyway, file a Complaint in the District Consumer Forum immediately and claim compensation of Rs 20,000/- for harassment; Rs 10, 000/- as cost and refund of the Rs 1, 05, 000/- paid as advance with 12% simple interest. Also write to the Minister of Consumer Affairs to black-list the HP company. more
