panasonic airconditioners Buyers Beware of after sales service

Am shocked to see the attitude of customer care centre of Panasonic airconditioners for the service

Had purchased 2 a/c { split}from Panasonic with 3 free services offer ,,,but now when I asked for the 1st service in 1 year 4 days { as the A/c was leaking from inside } Am informed that I have to pay for any services as the 3 free service is in the 1st year ONLY!
{ this was NOT informed when I purchased the A/c !!!!}

Somebody better be careful while buying A./c from Panasonic as they donot care for the customers

Waiting for Panasonic to reply more

Eureka Forbes RO System Buyers , Beware of After sales service. Two weeks back we made an advance payment to purchase an RO System for Rs 1,4990.00 from Eureka Forbes Dealer in Sector 11, Noida. The machine was fitted on 17 April 2017. During testing the quality of water output, it was noticed that the machine was allowing unprocessed water to pass out. The installation team left with an assurance that they had forgotten to fit one component that was needed to rectify the defect. The machine sits there unused ever since. In spite of a number of Complaints lodged both with the Eureka Customer Care as well as the Sector 11 dealer , no action has been taken till now. There appears to be total lack of responsibility on the part of both the Company as well as the Dealer towards the customers. The latter feel helpless even after lodging the complaints with the Consumer Courts. more
I can only offer my advice here to all purchasers of air conditioners, any brand. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM SO CALLED RETAILERS. They sell. Only sell. They play the VOLUME game. By volume they multiply their profits Buy a huge quantity and get a very cheap price. They have NO RESPONSIBILITY assigned to them by the manufacturer to service any AC you buy from them. Since their purchase price is low, and they need not earn any good name by providing good after sales service: As all over India, without any understanding this, people want a cheaper price only and they don't see what is behind. On the other hand, SALES AND SERVICE DEALERS DO NOT PLAY ANY VOLUME GAME, AND ARE UNDER COMPULSION TO PROVIDE GOOD SERVICE TO GET MORE CUSTOMERS AND ALSO THE PURCAHSERS TO ENTER IN TO AN AMC LATTER. They can not buy in huge volumes and hence in the start itself they loose the price advantage! This becomes more difficult nowadays, as quality of service personnel is sliding down very badly. When even an assistant working in a petrol bunk in shade, earns a better salary than an AC technician working in hot son most of the times, how can they be retained? They need to paid much better salary. But when these retailers at snatching most of the business, how can a sales and service dealer even stay in business? We have fallen for FREE culture. Unless we change, nothing will change! more
Blue Star is also the same. After one and half years of installation of split AC I called their toll free number to diagnose cooling problem. Compressor is of 5 years warranty. They informed me that their technician's each visit would cost me Rs 500/- I said I am ready to pay the charges of spares if required other than the compressor. This is sheer cheating. All these Cons goods manufacturers care to sell the goods, once you have purchased the item, you are on your own. more
