Reliance sold me through their fraudulent Calcutta based corporate broker a policy # 51749869 on 30 Jly 2014 on annual 30,000/- premium payment term assuring any time shift to lesser future terms. It took hell of correspondence to shift to half yrly term but, when asked to send revised premium demand notice showing revised premium minus excess balance left with them in my payment of first premium of 30,000, I am asked to visit their nearest branch just to find the amount. Even to get changed to half yearly term, they have repeatedly sent mails to visit nearest branch, which was the policy issuing issuing Secunderabad branch. Finally, with their Grievance officer's interference, they sent messenger with a proforma on which only the basic details of policy and the required premium term were to be written though these were already reflected in policy bond. Could they not post me that simple proforma? could they not post me now the revised detailed premium demand notice? Even to get the contact details of their branches, I was asked to refer to their webpage "Branchlocator" which showed error 404 stating that the page has been removed. I wonder, how unbecoming is the business conduct of Reliance particularly in the insurance business where we invest our hard earned moneys in good faith and trust. Please don't deal with any of the Reliance group products. It's not just about only the medi claim policy but I have experienced many issued with reliance mart/fresh and now with reliance communication. I had taken reliance gsm prepaid couple of years back but in recent months I have started facing issues with balance. Whenever I recharge my account, after 3-4 days my balance will get become 0 and whenever I call customer care they always have one thing to say due to server migration amount deducted which will not auto reverse and if you call after 3 days of deduction, then they don't have any details of such amount. I wrote to reliance appellateauthority(karnataka) but didn't get any reply from them. At finally I marked anil.ambani@relianceada.com mail id to escalate this issue, I got the response but irrelevant which is no where related to my concern. It's really disgusting, if don't get any resolution from such big appellate authority then to whom you can contact further. No other way, just stop using Reliance products and aware our community as well. more
