Printer cartridges bought via amazon
We have purchased HP printer cartridges via amazon shipped by cloudtail india pvt ltd. The packet is constant
These cartrides were being shipped for 800 something then after gst for 900 something and in december 17 after gst rate reduction for 1100 or so.
So though the gst rate was reduced on nov 15th, the base prices of the products was increased by cloudtail.
Cloudtail may have received input tax credit from consumer but surely did not pass it to consumer and even today its selling for 1100+
Either HP or Cloudtail or Amazon is profiteering here, like the govt officials to find out who and fix the issue. more

Everybody asks questions about companies profiteering.. I dont see any questions on profiteering where the government is concerned, they increase taxes, abolish notes, but not a single complaint. DOuble standars of life... Just hypocrisy!! more

Taxes are not certain. They need to be justified against a planned expenditure towards development. Excess collection of taxes leads to profligacy and of course corruption. more

Death and taxes are certain and not in your/ our hands. The government must have some leeway to act. Too many fetters are as bad as very little. more
