Problem I faced with Whirlpool Product

Hello Friends,
I have purchased Whirlpool Washing Machine in July-19. After use of only 2 to 3 months problem in machine started. The clutch and other threaded portion damaged. On other hand the service provided by whirlpool service center is worst. On dated 13.01.20 they took away machine for repairing at workshop but till today on dated 17.01.2020 they unable to deliver product back. Every time I called service center they gave different ascuses. I.e technician on leave, holiday so transport is not available, there is problem in whirlpool system so required part is not available etc etc. I want to ask all of you that if any company started workshop then why all required parts are not available there. I think it's only on paper service centers. Any one of u facing such problems? more

Were you given a date by the service center as to when the machine will be repaired and installed back. If no send them an email and ask for the repair by date (don't take verbal assurances). If they do not deliver by that date then escalate the matter to the seniors and also lodge a complaint in consumer court. more
In this case please lodge your complaint with PG portal Govt of India stating full details. I hope you will get redressal. more
There's a free replacement clause in warranty. If the seller is not doing it there has to be complaints authority to enforce this clause. At present there is none. The result is the buyer running between service agent, manufacturer and courts while the seller continue his business. The shop selling it has to replace the item during warranty period while the manufacturer seller contract has to include this. Incompetent mechanics waiting for spares is not an answer to this. There's no statutory enforcer to make the seller do this. Only the government can help in implementing it's rules. more
Complaining to Management is right approach. more
While the individual customer may take up with the management, in my opinion, the Ministry of Consumer Affairs may also track the number of complaints against any company and may sound out the management for taking corrective steps for redressal of consumer grievances. This would send out a great signal to the corporates CARING A DAMN FOR THE CUSTOMERS. more
