Profiteering by importers and cloudtail

This continues. Example after example. MRPs are not being reduced. In this case Calvin Klien eternity fragrance had MRP of 4525 on July 26 2018. Today on 13 Nov 2018 the MRP still is 4525. The importer (not sure who) and seller cloudtail had to lower this MRP to reflect rate reduction of 28% to 18% and make MRP 4100.

NAPA may please take action and make example more

Better you concentrate on the issues on MRP you have already referred to by fulfilling the requirements of the concerned departments, so that appropriate punitive action could be taken against the profiteering entities. Referring a new case every day without compiling the stipulated requirements would serve no purpose and your grievances will not be heard of. more

Why go for imported products? Select Indian good brand produced from natural sources and save your health & money. more
Nobody really cares. The retailer is just fearless as the enforcing agency is missing from the palace of action. In Chandigarh, some stuff without bill was being carried in a rickshaw. He was caught. The leaders in the local market union got together and convinced the inspector to fine the richawpuller for Rs 62500 for carrying unbilled items and not the retailer. Pitiable n laughable. Today I went to buy some locks. The printed MRP was Rs 389. The retailer asked me Rs 405 stating that new price is RS 450 so there is a discount on current price. His logic is that he has invested capital on the unsold stock so he will sell it at current rates and if I go to other shop I will have to pay the new price. There is a unique way of looting the customer. MRP on the cement bag is Rs 500. It is sold for Rs 300. If you ask for bill the retailers says GST extra. Onnly the GOD, the department and the retailer know who pays the GST 8f I do not take the bill. more
In india as all of know laws are made and stays on paper and implementation is very bad .Unless like in usa/europe the penalties are huge companies escape with this sort of attitude and make quick money till they are caught. It is good to hear that Mr Mathur has taken it up with the relevant authorities. more
