Profiteering from Pandemic
These two vaccine makers Serum and Bharat Biotech will soon be charging Indians the highest price citizens of any country are paying for their vaccine. It is shameful and the worst act of profiteering and the most disappointing thing is they are doing under the blessing of the Govt.

Present time is such that maximum number of people should get vaccinated in shortest possible time, so that people can get rid of this epidemic. Price is secondary consideration. Those who can afford will be vaccinated after payment, those who can not afford will go for free shots. We are loosing every day even from economic point of view. We have such a huge population and every one is to be given 2 shots. See the enormity of the task. Stop Critisizing, finding fault, blaming each other etc. more

The Govt continues to distribute these free, if you're willing to be vaccinated in a Public Health Centre - No AC while waiting, no valet parking ... If you need the credentials and comfort of a Private Hospital, you should be more than willing to pay commercial terms ... The vaccine is the same in both - the service certainly shall not be ... The choice is of the vaccinated ... more

It is a fact that the pharmaceutical companies are minting money, whenever any opportunity comes. They have very little attitude to serve the countrymen. more

People just quote something and shoot question with partial Information: Does you have firm Information about price what it will be? Do you have right information about vaccine price in other geographical parts of the world? Do you have any idea about manufacturing cost of this product in this tough time where every thing is chalangi hai starting from raw material, labour and managing facility? Do you have any idea about the efforts and activities required to establish a new medicinal product to seek its approval specially for such thing where 7.5 billion humans keeps eyes open and keen to hear it in record time? Did you fully read the guidelines of government or ministry which were released and analysed them, before directing fingering ....... under the blessing of govt? Personally I count it shameful act. Do you have any idea about supply chain management of such critical item, how does it is managed and how expensive it is? Or only see product cost (ex works)?? I am sure the answer for most of the questions is “No” so Instilling such quote in public domain is just politically influenced act to through mud without base .... I strongly condemn it. more
