Purchasing Books & Stationary in Private Schools

The Private schools are making huge profits i.e., more than 25% on selling Text Books and Stationery by opening the counter in the school itself and they are insisting the parents to purchase from school only.
As per the Govt. guidelines all the required text books should be available in minimum 3 near by stationery shops. But nobody following the guidelines/rules. It is happening due to no monitoring from the concerned dept officials.
The rules are made only for normal citizens! more

It is immaterial whether schools sells stationary or not. The important point to remember is here is that they should do their primary job in best way and that is where they are lacking and education department is hand in glove with them. more
Schools have become a source for minting money. more
Irregularities of Private schools are whooping in man more manners. Controlling the same is the matter more
Once you decide to put your children in private schools, you should be mentally and economically prepared to meet the demands of the school authorities even if they are unjust. As far as earning of profit on books and other stationery items is concerned, a margin of minimum 25% on books is allowed by the publishers/authors and in case of purchasing from the market, the shop keepers rarely allow any discount , that too, in the beginning of the sessions. We have lot of laws, rules & regulations on papers. On starting complying with those laws, rules & regulations, other country would become the heaven on earth. more
THEY ROB THE PARENTS, DEPRIVE THE POOR FROM EDUCATION ,CHEAT THE GOVT. BY NOT PAYING SALES TAX,INCOME TAX ETC ON SALE OF SUCH BOOKS more
