REGARDING XIAOMI INDIA

I HAD PURCHASED A REDMI NOTE 7 ON 10 APRIL 2019 THROUGH ORDER NUMBER: 519041097476040401 ON MI OFFICIAL WEBSITE. IT WAS ON EXCHANGE WITH MY OLD PHONE SAMSUNG J7 PRIME. THEY HAD GIVEN ME RUPEES 4050 VOUCHER(VOUCHER NUMBER: 5557462) FOR MY OLD PHONE AND I HAD TO PAY RUPEES 7949. NOW THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING ME THE PHONE AND NOT RETURNING ME THE AMOUNT ALREADY PAID BY ME. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICERS DO NOT RESPOND , PUT MY CALL ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES OR SO. THEIR SENIOR SUPERVISOR MR. AKHIL AKELA EVEN TALKED TO ME LIKE I HAD STOLEN SOMETHING FROM THEM. I WANT THEM TO BE FINED AND MY PAID AMOUNT BACK more

Bring this to the Notice of Management of Redmi (Xiaomi) going into their website and besides sharing the problem, back up your claim with proof (Bill) etc., Chinese are very concerned about their Company's image, unfortunately it is Us Indians who are lethargic cheats who bring a bad name not just to our community but also spoil the image of the company which gives them employment. I had problems with Huawei with whom we had good volumes of business, however in the C- Form, their Accounts Department was the most lethargic ones, I once reached their office in Gurgaon with prior information but when I did not find the officials ready to meet me, I approached a Chinese Official entering through Reception, I walked upto him and told him I have problem with Company's account and that Gentleman (Senior level Official) immediately gave me the ID of the Director asking me to write to him...when the Receptionist saw this, she was horrified and immediately informed the Accounts Head who came running to contain the problem before it got out of hand. So you see, we bring a bad name to ourselves. more  
My question here is what does Team Feku n Co have to say now about the so called Online world ? more problems only ultimately ? How can such things be allowed to happen just assuming its true and this person has given numbers etc ? So he is very tech savvy - but all cannot be him ? every day more problems happening in the online virtual world and GOI just wanted votes nothing else right? more  
Please put forth your views to the company, asking them immediate remedy. If no response is received within 15 days, you can prefer a claim before the Consumer Forum for redressal. more  
Please call to your card provider to stop payment to MI. more  
DEAR SUHAIL: MANY OF THE LEARNED MEMBERS OF THIS GROUP HAVE GIVEN YOU VALUABLE ADVICE ON - HOW TO GO ABOUT AND REDRESS THE MATTER WITH REDMI. I WOULD NOT LIKE TO ADD TO THOSE SINCE, I WOULD BE REPEATING THE SAME. HOWEVER, WOULD LIKE TO ADD ONLY TWO POINTS FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION. 1) REDMI IS A CHINESE ORIGIN COMPANY AND THEY DO TAKE THEIR TIME IN INDIA (In China, such sellers would be hauled up by the Party, you see..!!..) 2. PLEASE PUT A VALUE ON YOUR TIME BEING WASTED AND FOR CAUSING ANXIETY TO YOU AND ASK FOR A DECENT AMOUNT AS "DAMAGES" AND COMPENSATION FOR LEGAL COSTS IF YOU DECIDE TO TAKE THE LEGAL ROUTE. ( If you don't need the money, you can always donate the same towards some Charities..!!..) more
