Reliance Jio model is permissible now?

Step 1 - Lower prices to unrealistic levels, get Govt to support, kill competition.

Step 2 - take major market share in 2-3 years

Step 3 - Reliance Jio to raise mobile services rates by up to 40 per cent from December 6

Pay India Pay and let this movie repeat in every sector.

RIP the competition commission! more

Clever move by Reliance. What other service providers were doing? more
It is clear before BSNL is killed totally. Ache din ayenge. more
BSNL had such a good lead. Why they lost over a period is for them to introspect. However if the fence eats the field whom should we look up to? Reliance was never known for their business ethics. What one feels about Tatas, is never felt for reliance. But it needs to be mentioned that even Vodafone has increased their charges too, may be Reliance was waiting for them to take action first. more
Despite all odds, I am of the opinion that BSNL is the best service provider of the nation. Being a customer of the company for last 13 years and availing of the services of other 3/4 companies including Jio, I reached to this conclusion. Reliance owned by Ambanies were never consumer friendly. For last 2/3 years their plan was to lure the users and capture the entire market and they succeeded in their plan on capturing almost 70% of the market. Now it is their turn to realize their investment with interest. Charity never makes a man trillionaire. more
Telecom Sector is facing poor administration by Regulators. Network availability has worsened with Jio introduction in India. Adequacy of network strength is not ensured with enhanced number of mobile phone consumers. Who will take care of the interests of Consumer? Most of the time the called number is informed switched off and that happens due to poor network. Now a days even SMS are not received instantly. more
