Rental Car or Taxi Service Standards
BIS should seriously look at creating standards for rental car services or taxi services.
3 months back we had taken a vehicle for rental near shimla. The folks had dirty cars and one of the drivers came to us drunk the last day. We had to fire him and then started a back and forth war of words and their threats to get full payment.
When someone is on vacation they dont need these hassles.
If their are standards and compliant certified companies are identified, it will help consumers. Pls think about this BIS. more

I am also a regular user that too for about 30 persons .we have to be choosy and review their reputation. However sometime it flops .but there is no standards by the Govt. more

I do not think the Rental Car or Taxi Service Standards comes under Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). more

DEAR RADHA,the problem is we all are allowing such cheating to foster and not taking action.May I request you to take guidance fro mt National help line for thre CONSUMERS @ 1600 11 4000?.I am sure this agency will be pulled up and black listed.With regards.BN DAS more

S.all states this problems are there,night rentals still worse&riskey ,Central govt should do something in all states,to ensure quality transportation for public. more
