Samsung is profiteering
See Samsung washing machine screenshots. The washing machine had a MRP of 30590 in July 18 and even today despite GST rate reduction by 10% has MRP of 30590. The MRP should have been close to 25000 or so. Samsung should be booked and may be seller cloudtail also to be booked. MrP is manufacturers though. more

It appears from the enclosed picture that they are cunningly reducing the prices by the differentiates showing as rebate to attract the consumers, which is illegal. more

The revised GST and MRP will be applicable to products manufactured after the date of declaration of the new applicable GST. more

The logic by Mr. "Pari Ranganathan" though Logical it is illegal too. It is clear cut directives of the Union Govt. that the reductions in the GST to be passed to the Consumer. BUT the manufacturer and traders are NOT obliging due to very reason to encash additional Profit and this is Illegal. Advisable to lodge the Complaint. more

Under the Anti-Profiteering Act , the Sellers can be hauled up. So please file a complaint in this regards. more
