Schools fees charge in dwarka schools

Hi guys,
Recently i shifted to dwarka, delhi from pune maharastra.i was searching here for a school for my kid to take admission in Senior KG class. for this i approach all most all the school here.i received response from some of them.but i was surprised the fees they are taking is too much its like we are going for any professional studies (hats off to the delhi goverment to consider education as a business ) anyways it was my compulsion to take his admission in any school, when i saw here the fees is paid either monthly or quarterly, so now 1 quarter & month is already passed (april to june & july).when i asked schools management for fees, few of them were not charging 1st quarter fees but few of them has insisted to me to deposit passed months fees as well, so the school which i have selected for his admission charged a 12 month fees even though the four month has already passed ,
so just i wanted to know does the delhi goverment have such guideline to clarify this, because some of them were not charging fees for the session which is already passed.
so request to all experienced member to advise me shall the school charge a fees for the session which is not attended by kid. As i know without avail the services no one can charge for their services.
As i understand it can not be a rule by the government to charge full fees because some of schools were not charging. Kindly advise should i drag this matter to the consumer court

Mr. Deepak Kumar , The private schools gives the education as years packkage . The fees the whole academic year is collected in one instalment ; some schools do allow parents to pay a major portion of the fee in the first instalment and collect a second instalment some time later during the accademic year. Even when ones joins in the middle the package fees is demanded and like wise when leaving the school before the term . No refund is paid from the school that gives T.C. Did you have to pay the whole year's fee when you took T.C. from Poone ? The fees collected by the good private schools in chennai ranges from 40 K to 100 K and more depending on the facilities claimed to be offered [ call themselves International and Global schools . Some offer A/C facilities also.] As some members suggested scout out for the fee structures in schools which are close to your residence and admit the child . We must join ,National Legal Forum, suggested by Deekshitulu Kalaga to prevent such in the future . more
Yes all payment to schools shall be mandatory to paid via cheque or eletronically which will chech in flow of school.and can be audited...if found other means shall have licence canceled. ..thus. Same way all schools shall follow cbse /....books pattern no extra books be allowed.as they earn huge commission in this also.. Deepak kumarji, If you think of any action the school will expel yr child. Going to court and fighting for years is not of help. In India, govt has left many loopholes in the laws and in the courts matters get delayed for a decade or more. We must demand English medium schools with a monthly fee of not more than Rs1000 per child. Bus fees separate and children from abt 5 kms to be given preference. We shd also be ready to teach children from home and make them appear in matric exams directly at 16 years of age. The lab facilities for science students shd be made available in schools in 2 or 3 shifts at nominal payments. The concept of private and particular community schools shd be disbanded. Teachers must be transferred amongst schools in town, this way all schools get teachers, who may be good/mediocre. The other extra Curricular activities are a hoax like gymnastics, music, dance, etc. The child can play with his friends in the bldg or nearby and that's is enough. Ramu, Mumbai. 24/8/16 more
Please go ahead with the proposal. We are all behind you. The nexus between the "politicians-beaurocrats-educational institution owners" is a widely known factor. It is a fact that many in the middle class family finds it very difficult to admit their children in such schools. The best alternative, though, is Govt. schools. (For example in Kerala, the Govt. schools are now picking up to compete with the private schools, especially the English Medium schools with CBSE AND INCSE syllabi.) The Delhi Govt. (basically for AAM ADMI), must take up the issue. Let education be available for all in all schools... Let it not be restricted to the rich.... more
