If govt. really wants to care customer , they should teach lessons to such misleading Ads. more
The advertisement is not based on facts, rather misleading. The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) is a simple spectator to such activities of business houses. more

Caveat Emptor applies here fellow citizens. Plus, additionally, by the Contract Law, you are not obligated to buy; Actually the shop/brand is saying that they have merchandise, and this would be the price for one#two/three and more. Its you who go into the shop and that shows your willingness to purchase x,y,zee at the price offered. in other words, the company/retallor is NOT making AN OFFER TO SELL, but it is YOU/WE GO INTO THE SHOP AND EITHER PURCHASE IT OR NOT. that;'s the law of contract, which underlines every sale/shop/store/.. for example, please see your newspapers for the tender noticee' all of them say we have ex,y,zee to be done, and it sets out the specifics of the tender. These are people who are making an open request, per rules applicable to them, and thus they are also people who say I am ready to take services for the particular sector, and what qualifications/services offered. Now the last word in the previous line "offered". here the company/individual is inviting offers only. That same thing applies to shops also. Caveat Emptor, means buyer beware. DID the poster, and most of us, notice that there is a * quoted on the claims they hhave made.> I think kow; that *would be a small line at th bottom of ht ad saying TC apply, which mans terms and conditios. It is for each buyer to choose as they wish..... As for the law mentioned by another poster, it is purely in the hands of consumer courts, if there any malpractice, non-disclosure of any hidden clauses etc. That much is clear, really. But you cannot say after purchasing the time that it is because of your declaring that you did not SIMPLY forgot to check what the T&C are. T&C or *TC means, terms and condition apply. You have urge no one stops you. When you dont, just ignore it. We have too many many laws in this country, and some of them totally out of date. It's just Bajaj Scooters - you waited on in a long list, and Ambassador car for months and years on end.... why? because you thought Bajaj was a BRAND AND ambassador as a brand; today you have so many choices, that we are having a CHOICE, AND YOUR GRIEANCES ARE cleared by the manufacturers or dealers themelves do it. sorry for the long answer. more
This is certainly misleading and zodiac must withdraw the advertisement with an apology to the public and more so when the people are perplexed with the corona virus pandemic. The Govt should act immediately for such misleading advertisement. more
