Seperate category for premium stents

I have been educated on this issue over the last few days. So my suggestion is that the Govt create a seperate category for premium stents. And when they do this exercise, they make it a requirement for all stent makers to have the basic drug eluting stent the one for INR 30,000 to be eligible to sell a premium stent in India.
And then have a seperate category for premium stents where the govt fixes a prices say up to INR 50000 where stent makers can list their products provided they are selling the basic product at 30000 price or lower.

pls share your thoughts friends. more

What about the chances of the generic is passed off as premium? more
yes very much right more
It is a fact that the retailers and wholesalers of medicine and allied products have a huge margin of profit. This is mainly selling by brand name and also claiming better quality product. In our country there are vast majority of people who are poor and expect to get a lower hospitalisation charges and some with lot of money who do not bother for money. It may be under these circumstances we can follow the norm of making available Generic medicine and also branded products. However in this case the Doctors take decision, as the stunts are needed during operation. Before operating the patient the doctors may be requested to tell the patients relative about the special and generic products and assure that the effect and result of curing the patient is same if any of them is used and request the patient and his/her relatives to decide on what to use. It is important that no coercion or compulsion or other means of convincing must be used by Doctors. more
Let the preference be given to the government and expects that they will take helpful decision. more
Your suggestions are very good. more
