I bought a life insurance policy in the name of my son Devinder Khurana from SBI Life Insurance Co., Ltd., after they approached me for the same. I was told that we have to pay a premium of Rs.40,000/- every year and after five years i.e., in the sixth year we shall get Rs. 3,60,00/-. I duly received the policy and the payment of premium was being paid regularly. Now I have been told that we shall get Rs. 1,44,000/- plus some benefits i.e., the total amount as Rs.1,67,000/- and the balance amount will remain with the company for 100 years for insurance of my son.
