Sold used product as new product

I purchased A phone on Dec 12, 2017 from Reliance digital. But when I checked with samsung warranty was over in Aug, 26th, 2018. Further investigation showed that the same phone was sold to customer on Aug 26th, 2017, returned as defective. Same was sold to me. Let me know how to proceed. more

First of all, 70% of Mobile Phones are the failure models and among those there are 50% Refurbicated (which is returned by Distributors as Defective pcs) more  
Send a letter, with copies of the docs u have to the Manager(by speed post) and mark a copy to the CE of the organisation, also by speed post. Wait for their reaction, be persistant. more  
Send a 15 day email notice follow up with speed post notice as advised both with copies of documentary proof with you with caution of complaint to Consumer Court. more  
So sad to know that, you purchased a defective piece with full amount. It is the misstate of reliance digital. They should compensate. more  
Send notice and file a consumer complaint. It's a good case.. keep the evidence that the same was sold twice. more  
Give a Regd. notice to Reliance digital and if necessary proceed legally in the consumer forum. more
