How can sbi charge for closing an account. SBI took over associate Banks on 1.4.2017 and immediately imposed a charge for all those closing an account again with effect from 1.4.2017. isn't this totally wrong because many customers will have account in SBI and SBI Associate and charging for closing of an account which was with an associate bank is totally wrong and unwarranted. The bank is totally fleecing its customers. more
It is really "loot" to charge for closing the account. It seems every activity in the bank is being charged and if they want stay away they charge for that too. more
this is high handedness of the bank. The government should look into the issue and issue suitable directives to the bank to refrain from uploading charges on its customers at its will. more
