Subsidy
When I got a gas connection, I asked the Bharat gas staff as to which bank account is connected to my gas connection. They gave me a form and told me to get it filled and signed at my bank in order to attach my bank account to my gas connection. On showing the form to my bank(state bank of India) the staff said that they couldn't see my gas account details properly and told me that this is the wrong form. On going back to the Bharat gas office, I was told that my bank account has already been attached. And that on ordering the cylinder, I will be notified about the bank attachment. On ordering the gas cylinder, I got an SMS saying there was a problem in sending the subsidy to my account and that I must approach the Bharat gas staff immediately. When I went to the Bharat gas office, they again said no no don't worry, Ur gas connection is attached to ur bank. So I showed them the SMS. I was then given a helpline number and told to call them up. I got fed up and came home. On telling my maid about this, she told me that this same story happened to her. And she too got fed up and gave up on the subsidy. Is this a modus operandi with all the gas companies. more

As I remember, Aadhar linking is done through the Bank and Bank account linking is done through the Gas company. more

Madam,Pl.talk to the consumer help line available on the Bharat Gas website.They may help you to sort out this problem.Agencies do take the advantage of consumers awareness.Show them their place. Don't ignore.Its a ongoing thing.Not for one time. more
