SWIFT VXI ENGINE SEIZER (MH14EC7958)

SWIFT VXI ENGINE SEIZER (MH14EC7958) and Post replacement of half engine also vehicle is having different problem.

Hi ,

This is in regards with my vehicle,

To explain on 15-09-2015 while traveling on NH-4 Express highway start giving noise and after few second the engine cabinet started firing & fog. My Maruti Swift VXI bearing registration no MH14EC7958 which has reported to Delaer workshop in towed condition with engine block and oil sump crack/damage.

After their observation it is found that the engine block and

oil sump is crack/damage and also the piston connecting rod has come out through oil sump due to which all the engine oil is leaked out. The root cause for engine failure is unknown as the engine is not in start condition later Maruti has replaced half of the engine and accepted it as a manufacturing defect.

I have asked them to provide new whole engine or replace vehicle with new one but they denied on my request.

I had given approval and asked them to provide warranty for the replace part for that also they denied my request and have been asked from them to purchase extended warranty.

Recently again my vehicle got stooped after 3 days of recent service and they took almost 6 hr to take my vehicle later after one week diagnosis also they are unable to tell me proper root cause behind it and they delivered my vehicle to me.

I am unable to develop my faith on Maruti and i am mentally harassed by Maruti because it take a long time and every time i do not have this much time to spend on my new vehicle i have purchased new vehicle so that it will run with ought any problem but it has started giving problem in warranty. more

Write to the head of the maruti dealer entity, where you have serviced the vehicle and mark a copy to MD of Maruti Udyog Ltd and wait for the response. more
I had a smaller problem. My SX4 bumper was repaired in the new itself. This I discovered after almost 3 yrs. They admitted that this smart repair can be done by Maruti workshop only. Obviously the dealer had played the trick. So they asked me to take it to original dealer. Meanwhile I was transferred to Mumbai ,1700 kms away. I took up the matter with Mumbai Maruti RM. After some haggling and few emails, they replaced the bumper as a measure of goodwill. So take up with Maruti. Record your dissatisfaction. Start from RM and move upwards. more
It is more advisable to Issue a legal Notice clearly mentioning their refusal for your proposal and lac of services for which you had suffered and then talk to the Manufacturer only. Else for Both the incidents claim for compensations as well as lodge criminal complaint for Negligent services causing/Caused threat to your health, wealth and security apart from other. more
I am also of the same opinion as mentioned by all active members. Also would request you to mainatin perfect record of each telephonic/verbal/written communication with Maruti. Avoid discussions with dealer for some time. more
Dear Mr. Dwivedi, Maruti Suzuki is one of the best trusted brand on Indian roads and it is all because of its better service for availability of service center, service quality and customer satisfaction point of view. But some weak points get created due to some corrupt practices by some dealers and finally Maruti Suzuki is blamed for that and for that also company takes stringent measures. Please write directly to their customer support department giving details of the dealer, problem faced and action taken by the dealer, you should definitely be heard. more
