Many of the brands when we call them for servicing try to delay the servicing or find excuses and the try to upsell their latest product. I have had a Samsung TV and Refrigerator experience which was like this. Everyone please share your experience and department of consumers which is very active in this circle can hopefully take cognisance and fix this matter. more
The common practice experienced is : - instead of servicing at due cost the consumer is taken to recent models available at reasonable price and with the attraction of buy back (in few hundreds). Common consumers fall pray to such appeals and their sales are enhanced. Who cares for consumer in true sense ? is the unanswerable question. more
It is not happening everywhere and in every instance. The manufacturers and the dealers will always be in their efforts to sell their latest products as much as possible by convincing the consumers in different ways. It is the consumer to decide as to whether or not he/she should become a prey to such efforts! more
In most developed countries, the sold goods can be returned in a good grace period without any reason and no question is asked. It is a pity that the concerned authorities here do not bother.
