Vodafone-Unethical Practices

I bought a 2G pack with my Vodafone postpaid no.
I got the message "Your pack is activated".
But I was to get the benefits from midnight onwards (Why).
So the charged me at standard rate till midnight.
I ended up getting a bill for Rs 683 for this extra usage over and above the rent a L's.
I called the complaint no 198 and they have accepted to offer a waiver of Rs (683-114) within next 3 working days.
Let's see what happens.
ARaja times were better. more

All Telcos have " managed " the Govt. level dealing. We were promised by UPA II Govt. that there will be no roaming charges as they have finalised the plan for " One India - One Number "....this date was postponed due to " technical difficulties " expressed by Telcos and New date was announced. This New date went past and the NDA Govt. came, In the last one year, NDA Govt has not implemented the " One India - One Number " although, when BJP was in opposition, they cried " conspiracy " when UPA II postponed the date. The Telcos have ' managed ' the powers in NDA Govt. also. Hence, UPA or NDA - nothing will change for people like you and me. All MNCs, operating in India in what ever sector, have also learnt that , they can get away with MURDER, if the appropriate Govt. Official is " managed " suitably....!!!!!... THAT IS THE TRAGEDY OF INDIAN PUBLIC.....!!!...Nothing can be done about this. more
I have also a similar type of bad experience. They always generate charges for net connection abnormally besides the fact that I do not know how to operate Net or even I do not know weather I have a Net connection in my mobile or the Sim.Every time we have to fight with them. more
Many private Mobile providers bill is not geniune. You have very the bill if post paid. If prepaid some body calls will be booked to your phone. So please very bills carefully. BSNL billing is far better. This is my experience. more
Many plans/packs get activated at the press of a button(many a times by mistake) and a certain amount is immediately deducted and if balance is insuffisient it gets deducted the moment you top up but if you want to deactivate there is a labyrinth process. This is loot. more
